im interested in buying the ralliart hood vent, but its over 150 which is overpriced. today i noticed some of the black paint is coming off of it and it looks stainless underneath. Has anyone taken theres off and just sanded to a stainless finish? iIf so please post pictures, if this is free its alot easier than paying over 150 thanx.

I have seen another with almost all the black has come off.....IMO it didn't look good. But, that's only my opinion.... I would just paint it black again.
