I think I am done with my EVO...

What a funny lil thread we have here, some of the replies sound like lil kids behind a keyboard.
Let's get the obvious out...
- It's slower than an evo
- Doesn't handle aswell as an evo
- Doesn't take mods very well like the evo
Im sure the thread starter knew that, so why repeat what he basically know? If you read his post, sounds like he had a luxary vehicle, bought an evo... put 50k on it... love every 50k of it, but is ready re-switch to a luxary car again. So why the hate children? G35 is a very nice luxary car and reliable aswell. If you can get past the brembo/ oem brake issue... than you have very good car, not performance orintated like the evo, but still good nevertheless.

Probably the most thought filled answer yet lol. I agree with everything he said.
Also, go take a G35 coupe for a test drive if you haven't already. That should really help you with your decision.
I test drove the new 300hp 350z's last week, and damn that car sucks lol. I walked out very dissapointed, I expected more from the Z.
I was actually looking into the G35 coupe, but got a chance to test drive the Z by chance, since they're both pretty much the same cars, I figured the G35 shouldn't be any different, as far as performance and handling goes.
I guess i'm not ready to leave the rough n rugged Evo yet

Maybe he is at the point where I think I feel at times.
Had the evo,,,, enjoyed it,,,,,, time to move on.
The whole MOD thing is worn out in my book. Go faster , be faster, beat this car, almost beat this other car....... need to get more mods to add power and beat that car I almost beat....... wtf?????????? why ,, what does this prove? And what are you lacking that you need to do this anyways??????? The only thing your doing is feeding the aftermarket suppilers hand over fist with mucho dinero,,,,, and there is no end in site. THEY HAVE YOU BY THE BAWLS, not me, grew out of this,,, after 3 yrs,, Im done.
I dont track my car,,,,, thought about it when I bought it,,,, street racing is gay,,,, dangerous and you can get your liscence yanked if you get caught..... Try getting to work the next few months without one.
I have dumped a few thousand into my car,,,,,,,,, dosnt seem any faster than when I first got it...... You get use,, really use to any added power....So all in all you just flush your money down the craper.
Go get another car and enjoyed it for what it is...... I for one have GROWN completely out of,,,,,"modding" my ride,,,,,
G35 coupe and 4 door very nice.
IS350 very very nice
BMW 3 series,,,,, looks great
Audi A4,,,, another great looking ride.
M35 awd,,,, my brother just got this and OMG the interor is to die for,,,, nice get up and go too.
So all in all, I have to say,,, you only live once and never know when your going to punch out. Drive alot of different cars, enjoy them all. For me I will never throw money at any other car I have as I did with the Evo.
Enjoy your next car search.......... I know I will when the time is right!!!!!!

G's are nice, But if you want response and luxury and Factor Than buy a used M3 Pimping @ its finest in my opinion, and you dont see too many of them around. And chicks like them more !

Used M3 or a used 540. Thats the way to roll. Or an S4.
G35 coupe and 4 door very nice.
****Slow and slushy, 4 door is just a fancy maxima in my opinion****
IS350 very very nice
****Nice but not very impressive in the power or looks department****
BMW 3 series,,,,, looks great
****Unless you get the M3 the 3series cars are junk and far overpriced for the level of performance and quality, I would rather get a used 5 series.***
Audi A4,,,, another great looking ride.
***Great look but small inside and a dog with the 1.8 or V6, buy a used S4 with the 4.2 or 2.7 bi turbo***

Come on man, stick with the Evo crew, plus you can modify it now!! But, if you really want to get a different car, go with the M3 instead of the G35. The M3 is faster and it has exactly what you want.............luxury.

You know what man. I know how you feel. I have an Evo.. yea its fast and nice but I always find myself driving my brother's 350Z on the weekends when he comes over. It's smooooth and luxurious. It's a really nice driving car.

I drove the G35 because I was considering it over the Evolution.....well I was extremely dissapointed with the performace of the G35. I went with the MR and I am much happier. I personally find the evo to be more comfortable than the G35 due to the bucket seats cupping your body. But if you want leather and all the dashboard gadgets then ok, the G35 is for you. They are in the same price range but honestly you can't compare the cars together at all.
Oh yeah, everyone and their mom has a G35 around here..so it's pretty played out.

Even fully loaded, it's still not as luxurious as a g35c or x. My uncle has one in white, and the only thing luxurious I find about the car is that he has 22's on it and the leather seats. They are more common than a g35 and are becoming the new civic... euhh. Caddy? Rather go japanese or german over american anyday.
