Car has been babied. Has minimal paint damage on the front bumper/hood. Many people can attest to my cleanliness of the car, and the rare usage of it.

I was thinking of asking around $40,000...but if I do decide to sell it, I'll probably end up parting it out.

Modifications decrease the value of a car, not increase it. There are some exceptions (profesionally race prepped cars, SCCA prepped and the such) but you should consider bringing it back to as-stock-as-possible and selling it private party.

While this is true, you've got a very clean looking car and the right buyer might pay for it, but finding that buyer would be hard!

See what the loan value is on the car, and that is going to be about the most you can ask for it.

While your car is one of my favorites on this site, I'm going to have to laugh at getting 40k for it. You would probably get 27k tops private party. Part it out and sell it and you could probably make 25k on the car and probably 4-5k on mods. Your only big dollar mods are the wheels and seats. Rest of the stuff won't add up to much.

He could make more than 25k private, I would say more like 27-28k. 25-26k is what I would expect at a dealer. Also don't forget the Project Mu BBK, that's worth a bit

you are probably right, although every car that I see with lots of (expensive) mods, a) doesn't sell
b) sells for much less than it's worth
c) gets parted out

Turn it back to stock, and part out those mods, you could make about 32k tops.
