I kno the EVO RS has a a few less features as the better versions...are those features worth gettin an evo for or can you live without them? J/w. im lookin around for evo's and id like to get the same performance for a lower price, unless i can find good deal on an evo VIII or somthing.

Honestly, IMO the evo is not a car that really needs any of the extra stuff that the RS doesn't offer. If i had the option to get another evo, or when i trade mine in, i would/will get an RS. I kinda regret not getting it the first time. The only reason i didn't get it the first time is because they didn't have any and i didn't really like the look without the wing. That's just me though

The RS is definitly worth it, living without a radio is tough, and you'll find few RS owners that didn't install an aftermarket system, other than that you get over the lack of other features pretty easily. I came from an Audi A4, slow as hell, but very nice interior and lots of features, but I never been happier with a vehicle than I am with my current EVO IX RS. For the price, the RS has got to be one of the best bangs for the buck out there, the ride to me isn't as bad as people make it out to be and the noise isn't as loud, but this is my opinion. It feels very light on it's feet and believe me this car is fast, ask the modified G35 Coupe I wallooped the other day how fast it is.

I have an RS and once I quit looking for the key fob to lock the car, I was fine. Roll-up windows and manual locks (no electric, you have to lock them all by hand) don't bother me, it's a bit loud but just cruising around it's quiet enough, even on the Interstate.

if you are patient, you can get those luxury item from other members here at really low price.
I installed nice stereo system and driver side power door lock with an alarm ( I think these are the must for daily drivers) Now, I am getting the power lock and the harness for the pass side from wrecked evo using my lunch money
some member here sold the stock radio for 50 bucks.
and I remember one memeber sold all the power package including power windows and radio for 250 dollars.
