Problem with gauges

I’m having a problem with some VDO Vision series gauges I just installed in my evo. The oil pressure gauge is reading backwards! As I rev the engine the pressure goes down. I called egauges.com where I ordered them from and the guy I talked to was just a confused as I am. I’ve checked the wiring dozens of times and can’t figure it out. Has anyone seen this problem before or could the gauge be defective? I’ve been trying to contact VDO’s tech help line but can’t get anyone to answer the phone. I installed the sensors the way it shows in bolsens how too.

If it is not defective, get another one, if it still reads like that, change the oil sending unit part next to the oil filter. If its not that, maybe an engine issue!my 2c

i know i can rule out any engine issue. i had a mechanical gauge hooked up before and it worked fine.
that would probably be the easiest way to trouble shoot the problem.
Thanks for the reply
