Im already considering trading it in on a IX. My question is what should I get, a IX GSR, or MR. The main concerns I have are the tranny, Im kinda sick of my 6mt because I have to shift so much, so which one is better, or more liked among people? Which one would be better suited for the track (circut and time attack)

Do the two trannies make a difference in 1/4 mile times? 0-60 times? and top speed?

thanks in advanced. hopefully I will be part of the darkside soon

in God's holy name there is no US GSR. So pls clarify if you are comparing the JDM/Euro GSR vs the US MR or simply the Normal Evo IX and the Evo IX MR.

I've been on this forum a while now, people refer to gsr because there is no name for the inbetween model evo. SO when someone says I have a evo ix, they ask what trim, GSR is what people say.

Its IX RS, IX , IX MR fill that nothing in with GSR.

I'd get the MR if you could somehow get the price difference down to approximently $3,000.

oh alright coz i never called my 03 Evo as a GSR model. The GSR trim for the IX in Japan and europe is the highest model with sayc/acd and 6-speed.
