What alarms are you guys using? I was thinking about getting one w/ the LCD remote. Any recomendations?

I have prestige now but I will upgrade my car entirely to glass sensor,GPS tracking and lcd with beeper sometime this year.

Compustar or Clifford RSX 3.5 both are top alarm system.. Im going get Compustar..

I also have a compustar and wouldnt trade it for anything. I competed in audio and electronics shows for a few years so I like to think I know a little about these products.. Compustar is IMO the best alarm on the market today and has been since about 2000 but I would make one recomendation.. Make sure there is a shop in your area that is proficient at installing these alarms.. ie.. has done 10 or more at least.. Compustars are great but they are also an installers worst enemy and if they are not installed perfect you will have problems such as range, sensitivity, ect...

My Evo generally only goes 2 places, my garage and my work (nuclear power plant) and our security is rather......tight there.

Essentially what I'm saying is......I don't have an alarm.

a pretty kool alarm that gets peoples attention is from hornblasters.com they sell train horns for your car and there loud as hell the best one can be hard from 3miles away!!! the guy that started the site used it for his car alarm cause people would acutally pay attention to a train horn going off... lol but yea they also can hook up to your factory horn as a normal horn.. its cool as hell!!
