EVO Assembly Plant Location

Hello,
I am trying to find the Lancer Evolution Assembly plant in Kurashiki, Okayama, Japan. Does anyone have pictures or even the GPS cooridinates or perhaps a Google Earth location? I found the Subaru STi plant on Google Earth but not the Evo plant. It appears its in a low rez area. Any help?

Lancer EVO magazine has a bunch of pictures of the plant and the line that makes the engines and dyno tests them.

According to my service manual, the final location for assembly is Mizushima.

That is for a 2005 GSR (The manual states it's a GSR)

Exclamation

This is where all lancers are built (evo, ralliart and base)

Mizushima Power Plant
According to figures compiled by the London-based World Markets Research Centre (WMRC) and reported by the Financial Times (July 8, 2002), Mitsubishi Motors' Mizushima Plant is the global winner for labor productivity in the auto industry. Each worker at the Mizushima Plant produces nearly 180 cars a year.

when you say dyno tests them......do they dyno each motor they make? I have no knowledge on what goes on in the factories and i was surprised to hear that they dyno the motors? i guess they have too, so they make the claimed power..

Ok For you Google Earth fans....
I have the GPS coordinates of the EVO plant. Unfortunately its in a low rez area.
But it matches perfectly to the pictures. I am 100% sure these are the coordinates.

34degrees N 30 minutes 48 seconds
133degrees E 44 minutes 76 seconds

Thanks,
Tim

yes every engine is dynoed, there is an article in SCC about the plant too. the evo is assembled right along the regular lancers and the sweet EVO wagon, it was diheartening to see the evo just mixed in with a bunch of regular lancers instead of some high tech performance plant, but still quality
