So the shootout portion is only open to vendors? How about racers/tuners? I would be interested in bringing the car out to see how it compares but I won't tow out there for a driving event.

I have found a couple videos at these sites. You can also purchase a "learning DVD" for a 2 hour tutorial on any track including in car video and instruction at tracktapes.com

Hey Paul - we'll be watching you in the GT3 this Sunday @ Sebring; of course monitoring the Webcam tomorrow Best of luck; Man, Reese has a package ready!

Can't commit to this event - we'll have to get closer for that Maybe you could entice me with some insider stuff from the Vishnu camp with what they have in store for the Evo IX's

HPDE is that just for evo's? I have some friends that drive other cars that would like to participate.

I would like to fill it with as many Evo's as I can. Once we open registration we'll get a better understanding of how many will participate and if there's room for other cars. I'll keep everyone posted.

2 questions regarding the shootout rules for the street class:

1) The way I read it, I can use 100 octane unleaded gas, true?
2) Does full interior include the original seats, or can we use race seats? Stock steering wheel?

Yes, 100 is fine, and yes you can use race seats and wheel. The interior just must be complete meaning you cannot strip it all out for weight. That means everything including the stuff under the dash.

Bascially, we are trying not to have crazy race cars in the street class so it can be a more level playing field for a broader range of tuners to be able to participate.

I will be there!

(Haven't told the wife yet though.)

Want to do the HPDE but am otherwise willing to help out if needed.
