i think it's beatten to death on this forum.
It's actually Legends of speed 2.
first one has the bike race.
I think he burned it, because his last gf died or something while racing?

It's Legend of Speed 2, it's a really old Cantonese movie. Have to watch the whole movie to understand why they burnt the car at the end. In Hong Kong there's only one major highway, the Princess hwy, and most movies with car chasing and racing stuff are shot there. And yes this is a repost.

theres a 2? i went to look it up and i couldnt find any info on a 2
iono about that. on best motoring they did a comparison btwn the 06 spec c sti, 06 sti, the 04 spec c sti and the evo mr and in a straight the evo got beat. but when they tested it on the track thats where the evo beat the regular sti. i dont remember about the spec c sti

The bad guy's head leader just got out of prison and wants to settle his score against the main character. He challenges the main character to a race to settle it once and for all. The bad guys (WRX drivers) kill the mechanic who was supposed to help build the race car to race against them. Before he died he wrote down all his notes on building the "ultimate" race car. So the main character and his buddies take his notes and builds this race car according to the notes. In the end after he had beaten the bad guy, he torches the Evo as a effigy in the dead guy's memory.
I have the movie on DVD somewhere...

I actually recognize some of the roads and the bridge they cross when I visited HK a couple of times.
It looks like they go from HK Island to the Kowloon side and back and even drive around the Lantau Island area as well.
