Defi D Boost gauge = inaccurate?

I want to get one even though they are discontinued, but I've heard they can be inaccurate over time. I found one, but I'm not sure if I want to spend the money on it if its going to be inaccurate despite that it matches up great to my cluster as its black/amber...

Thanks.

im in teh same delima actually. I want to purchase this gauge but read here recentlty that peopl ehave problems with them? Will defi or the company you get it from warrenty this thing? To be honest though i cant see this gauge mess up as many times as i have read recently. I thought defi made great stuff. I mean this is their low end gauge series but they still have to be better then the competition!!!!!

I've had mine for a year and it is spot on. Never had any problems with it. However, I have read that some had problems and that there was a fix to it.
