Keep the SS Autochrome Manidolf OR Get a Ported Stock Manifold?

I bought an EVO with a leaky SSAutoChrome manifold and I am trying to decide if I have to take it off I want to put something back on it that will be the best. The SS manifold will need to be machined to a level plane, no cracks, just a little warpage on the head to manifold flange. Your ideas are appreciated, Thanks!

Possibly PM me with your price.

More so I want to know if someone can prove a stock ported will make more power and which one is better. I love how the tubular manifold looks so that is my own motivation to keep it. Although if I got another stock manifold it would look REALLY stock under my hood.

buschur did testing on this earlier, i think on december of last year.
from all the reading, i understood there was about a 5whp difference between the headers and his ported manifold. one header he tested lost hp from the ported one.

Get the ported/coated Manifold from Buschur. I Had a Borla ceramic coated SS manifold and switched to a Buschur manifold; Beautiful piece, no cracking, and the coating has held up great for about 4 months now.

Try an new gasket. Otherwise, contact SS regarding their exchange policy. I have a SS header and there is a noticeable power diff between it and the stock manifold.

5 whp difference?

I think that on a car thats already fast I think it'll be hard to feel the difference...

Imagine a car with 400 WHP racing a car with 405 WHP????

I think in the end it'll boil down to who's the better driver
