I was speaking with Shep a while ago about building my TC and what not and he does recommend Redline Heavy Shock Proof in the TC.

He wanted me to make this very clear on Evom since alot of people are misinformed.

3 qts in the tranny, then 750ml each in the t-case/rear diff. 1 qt will not fit and spill out all over you.

I though Diaqueen was only meant to be used for t-case and rear diff?

With BG syncroshift II for the trans?

You are right Diaqueen in the t-case and diff only. make sure you use 75w-85 or 75w-90 in the trans and it must be GL-4 not GL-4/GL-5

Yes, exactly. I didn't specify the fluids, because I was responding directly to mdsevo4.

However, I was wrong about the 1qt. Zmeli said that it's 750ml, but I don't know how far off that is from 1 qt.

1000ml = 1.056688 QT

750ml = 0.7925162 QT

1 QT = 946.3529 ml

You got me curious

Ahh you must one of the misinformed indivduals. Yes you are correct if you use Redline 75W90 or MTL-90 as some idiots do.

With Heavy Shock Proof you wil be fine.

I will keep this info handy for both my upcoming clutch install (and fluid change) as well as for future questions on this matter. 750ml is quite a bit less than 1qt, so that's important to know.

i used redline in my 03 trans, t/c diff. 3months later my t/c was whinning really bad and ha d it rebuilt under warranty. 3months after that my trans started grinding 4th gear, had it rebuilt under warr. the dealer used BG syncroshift in the trans, diaqueen in the t/c and diff. was perfect after that.In my 06 BR350IX#005 i use BG SS in the trans and diaqueen in the t.c and diff. shifts like butter.I will never use any other combo
