Ok...'Some' of the replies to your question are pretty much useless unless they come from people without trades involved. Somebody can spout off how they got an Evo 1500 below invoice, but they actually unknowingly got burned on the trade in and/or finance rate. Thus their price is irrelevant.
I got my IX for invoice, at 5.6% for 60 mos, and recieved black book's poor condition value for my trade. Not bad since they have to convert my car back to stock form, and return my aftermarket parts to me.

lol. I went to a dealership on Thursday and they said the best they could do for me was like nearly 31k OTD... i went back today and tried to bargin a little more and got 30k OTD ($700 below invoice)... gonna wait and return on monday to see if I can get 29.5k OTD... if i can get down to that, I'm going to get the car. This is for an 06 Evo 9 RS btw.

My rs is costing 28400 with no trade.. And I just had the dealer order it for me.. The wait is well worth the price. The cost for shipping was 600 within the us, a direct order from mitsubishi is free shipping.... Well its included in the msrp.
