Evo reliability?

I didnt see any specific threads on general reliability
What kind of problems has your evo had that you didnt cause yourself?
How was it fixed? How many miles did you have and what model is your evo?

reliability

I have a 2003 with 19800 miles on it and have not had a single problem due to manufactures defect. It has proven more reliable than our 2004 volvo v70r and the wrx I had before this car.

I dont tell people to search often or at all for that matter. But this is one of the most talked about things on here.

To touch on your q's My evo has been as reliable to me as any honda Ive owned. Just do the maintenence stuff and youll be ok. Remember if you beat the crap out of a machine it will break.

Yeah, but not by much. I blew it once from the throttle body when I was stock and it just never held right after I blew it especially after I got flashed lol. Replaced it and no problems since.

1.5 years, 25k miles on my 2005. It's my daily driver and I've had no major problems. Driver's seatback cracked about 15k miles ago, and was replaced under warrenty. Still stock otherwise.

I have about 41k now. Replaced stock clutch at 34k along with all drivetrain fluids and TC under warrenty at 39k, which obviously was my fault since I was at the track alot.

Other than that car is great!

I have an 05 with 30,000 miles on it. Defective rotors were replaced at 5000 miles under warranty. Other than than it has been completely reliable and problem-free. Oh, and I'm 100% stock and I've never raced, launched, or taken the needle past redline. I want the car to last longer than the payment...
