dealer did not pay off my old car !!!!!
hey guys the dealer i got my evo from [brad benson] did not pay off my old car and i got something in the mail telling me they are going to go through collections and whatnot, not this dealership is known for being THEIVES . They also scammed me for some other stuff on my contract for extra money that i did not notice till i got home. Now who can i report this to? This is messing up my credit so this isn't anything to be taken lightley. I want this dealership to pay because they have been fu*kin with me from the beginning, please tell me who i shouold call so they can be penalized heavily. Thanks

dealership here in Tucson (Orielly Mitsu) did that same bs to us. It was the most ridiculous thing to deal with and took awhile to get resolved. I hope it goes quick and painless for you.....

Same thing happened to me when I bought my 03 from Santa Monica Mitsubishi several years ago. I traded in my old car and they were supposed to pay it off right away. About a month later I get a failure of payment notice from my credit union for my old car. I find out that those pieces of Sh%t never paid it off. I also find out that the dealership had sold my old car the very next day I traded it in! That was only a series of crap they pulled on me. Boy, I sure learned alot from that buying experience.

What did they say about it? I would read your contract again about the trade in because it would be fraud if the contract states they will pay it of and they didnt. Probably not much you can do about the other stuff they added on because you signed it. I would call the BBB (better business bureau) also because there are actually people who check the BBB for complaints before buying a car. Good luck
