The only one I'd heard of before EvoM was Shiv/Vishnu, because of his Sport Compact Car magazine ties. Turbo Trix has gotten business from me because of EvoM, and now Pruven Performance and Al/Dynoflash get to jam their hands in my wallet, too!

Fair enough Al... now I just hope we can get the other two guys to agree with you... and be patient enough to know that Mods WILL try and sort it out. I was offered the position a long time ago by Mark and Bob. I really had no time for it... I still don't have much time now as I have to even cram time in to do my customers justice. However, I feel compelled to at least try as this site should be a comfortable environment in which we all should be able to trade information and follow our passion.

I think if we get this pole right, it will surprise just as many members as vendors... in a good way. Now if I can just figure out how to correct my pole mistake without screwing up anyone's info

i have been familiar w/ Buschur from the days of my 1G TSI, you couldn't do a search involving DSM's without Buschur Racing being talked about in a positive way! as for the other Vendors, i had "heard/read" of a handfull of them before EvoM.

BTW- Zeus, Peter Parkers uncle is "Uncle Ben".

I think the poll is really irrelevant. It is clear that this forum is by far the most visited and compreshesive Evo owners forum by far.

As for your comments about moderation, I agree that without the moderators this site would be filled with KAOS

The moderators here have done a amazing job and relally worked hard to keep order

The moderators who do not get paid are really the back bone of this web site and I certainly greatly appreciate their effrots and time invested to make this place a valuable resource and an enjoyable place to spend time

Exactly, this poll if filled correctly will yield amazing results... So far I see over
50% of business on EVOs comes from this site to vendors.

This looks like the old timer get together.

I knew Vishnu from I-Club.

I knew Buschur from DSM.

I can't believe how fast these five year came by. We use to talk on this forum and debate hp# for our current evo and if the evo ever comes to the states

I didn't know of a single tuner shop when I bought my EVO. Hell, I didn't even know what a DSM was until I came on to this site.

I think anyone with a DSM previously such as myself would know Buschur, AMS, and Turbotrix. The others like Dynoflash, Vishnu, PDT (brand new...) are more EVO/WRX oriented.

Don't forget how many people who now own Evos never had a DSM or ran in those circles... hell, I'm one of them.

I came from the Nissan camp (240sx w/ SR20) and didn't know the first thing about Evo/DSM tuners. The best part is, through this site i was able to find a plethora of resouces and I was able to gain knowledge that I would have never had about my car.
