Ignore the CEL?? thx
My CEL is on because I cutted the oxygen sensor (test pipe). I tried to extended the O2 wire, soldering it under the car was a pain in the ***. I think me and my buddy did a ****ty job soldering it.
So the CEL is on...
Do I need to get it fix, can I just ignore it. If I ignore it, will it do any harm to my car. (Computer, ECU? eh?)
thx for the comments/info bro.

I thought extending the wire (UR test pipe) to the test pipe bung is a more reliable method. The problem now is that I cutted the O2 sensor wires, and its kinda hard to solder them. (small wires, limited space under the car)
thx for all the advices, i'll try to fix it.
What I HATE is that after I re-solder them. And the o2 sensor lit on again...i'll be really pissed. (I heat wrapped and everything....)

butane soldering iron (cordless and fires up quick)
clips/third hand/soldering helper, you can take these things apart and configure them to help you hold things together.

You cant solder the lambda wires, the solder just falls off and doesn't stick. Even if you manage to get htem to stick more than likely you will have a dry joint and no connection. you can only crimp them.

Better yet, go to the local carparts store and pick up a cheap code reader/clearer to keep in the car. You will know what codes you're throwing and you can charge your friends a buck to do theirs too.
