That's not smart at all. You lose more power with the silencer than if you still had the stock exhaust. One guy used to drive around with it, then dyno'd with and without it...he gained 40whp.

Please stop typing in ALL CAPS. You asked us the question and now you are telling us the answer? I told you the guy lost 40whp as proven on the dyno. The silencer is a gigantic power inhibitor...it's a huge restriction that affects boost by increasing backpressure and decreases exhaust flow by basically plugging the tailpipe.
