As long as he gets all Buschur stuff, I'm happy. The purpose of my packages is just to support Buschur, but also provide people with a pre-set package that matches my philosophy. He'd do quite well with the Buschur Stage 1&2, and he'd do very well with my Stage 1. Either way, Buschur's happy, so I'm happy.
TyEvo, you'll be around 300whp or so with either route you take. I personally don't recommend the MAF pipe, and the UICP is less for power as it is for preparing you for later mods, but there are tons of cars out there with the Buschur stages that all run very well (and fast).

thanks..
Quick question for you Warr.
I don't know how these 05's do with your package but I heard a lot of stuff about the IXs. They are hitting low 12s and high 11s with just simple mods. Is it worth it to trade my VIII for a IX? I have about 20K left to pay with the 0% apr for 60 months. Is it really worth it? I more I read about the IXs the more I want to trade it in.

Ty, you can see in my sig how I did with my own package on my 05 MR. I ran low 12s on pump gas then 12-flat with race gas. The IXs are so much better that they can match my 12-flat and even hit 11s with LESS mods and on straight pump gas. Then, with race gas, one has already hit 11.73 with these basic mods. The reason why the IX package costs less and requires less mods is because the IX fuel pump and BOV are both already upgraded from the factory, so you don't have to purchase those like you do on the VIII.
Your 0% deal is very sweet man, but it's all up to you. I bet you could sell your 05 for 25k or so, then take the difference and use as a down-payment towards a brand new IX from South Coast Mitsu with their incredibly low prices. Have it auto-transported to Wisconsin, buy the IX package for $1270, then sit pretty at 330-340whp and 12-flat on 93oct. Tough to beat!

I guess if I don't want to trade and sell my 05, I could just upgrade the turbo. Does anyone know how much a IX's turbo is? Who in here has upgraded their turbo?

Who in here has upgrade their turbo? Come on, Ty, you don't just throw that question out in the middle of a thread. Tons of people have upgraded their turbos. Just go look around.
You can upgrade to the IX turbo for $700 by getting a new one from turbochargers.com as long as they still have them in stock, but it doesn't bolt up directly. You need the IX turbo outlet and the coolant/oil lines that match it. You can get those from Mitsu and then bolt it all up. You'll get the gains from the IX and then can sell your stock 05 for $300-400 or so probably. However, you won't be able to get the same effect as IXs do from the MIVEC.
