I developed an exhaust leak at the manifold/turbo flange. When I unbolted the turbo, I found that the gasket was 1/4" too small on the left/right sides. It was blocking a 1/2" of exhaust flow to the turbo. After replacing the gasket with a standard, stainless T3 gasket, there was a very noticable difference in spool and power. It was extremely laggy with the blocked flow. Since I had a local shop install the kit, I can't be sure if it was the gasket that was originally supplied. Even if it did come with the kit, the installer should have caught it. It was obviously too small for the flange.
