Thinking about selling the evo

I have been thinking about selling my evo and I was wondering what everyone thought I would be able to get for it. Pretty much all of my parts are listed in my sig. I have a 2003 evo blue by you with about 15,000 miles on it. Hasn't seen any winters. I am going to post some pics up tonight but I would like to see what everyone thinks. Thanks

Justin

This is going to be hard because it sounds like the mods are staying on the car. For someone who appreciates it for what it is, $29,000 to $30,000. For someone who sees your mods as a future headache, $23,000 to $25,000 if its a clean car. Sounds like you have yourself one hell of an Evo though, why are you selling it? If you are looking to replace it with another performance car I think that would be a terrible move on your part. But if is for other reasons like you need a minivan because you wife just popped out quintuplets, then I can understand.

LOL.... thank god its not quadruplets! Naaa I just live in NY and I put it away for the winter and I hardly ever get to drive the car. For what it cost me to keep I am debating keeping it. Its in perfect condition as you will be able to tell from the pics but its a tough decision.

Testing the waters threads are pretty pointless IMO. You either put on sell or you don't. That's the only way you are going to find out how much people are willing to pay for something.

I appreciate the responses that was what I was looking for. I should have been a little more specific though... the body has 15,000 k on it but the engine only has about 2000 miles on it.... I know it still wouldn't give me that much though..

Put it on Ebay and ask $40,000 for it. Who knows, somebody might bite. Reasure that the car is in perfect running order and very clean. Maybe post a dyno plot or track time with it. If you don't ask, you don't get!

Have you dynoed it yet? How much power are you running?

I have it dynoed at 465whp @ 21 psi and 568 whp @ 29 psi. I need to switch out my 3.5 bar map sensor for a 5 bar so that I can turn the boost above 30 psi.

part it out and sell it as stock or close to stock. you will NEVER get close to your investment unless you run it that way.

i did it with my last turbo car, and actually came out even- considering the motor was gone, it was a very easy option. at the end of the day, all i care about is money.
