tighten the stock seatbelts

Any trick to tighten the stock seatbelts more than they do normally to reduce movement? I take the comments on five point belts without a rollbar, but would like to take the Evo out to the track if only to learn more about its envelope.
Thanks,
Doug

Schroth makes D.O.T legal 4 point harnesses. They are not 3" wide, but 2" wide like stock. They have anti-submarine technology built in where you don't need to use a crotch belt and you are not required a roll bar. These are great for auto-xing - I use these in my VW. They also make a reel that locks so you can actually move around like a regular belt to reach your radio. The only catch is that you are required to use a proper type of seat (which the EVO has anyway).

One trick that you can use is to twist the tongue part of your seat belt around once before you insert it into the buckle. This prevents the lap part of the belt from giving up any slack which will help secure you to the seat. It's not as good as actually strapping into a harness but it's cheap.
