Dealers Asking $7,000

Well My car Broke Down on me... So the Dealer is asking for $7,000 to fix it.. Cuz they said its not coverd by warranty.
The things that need to be Fixed are..

Trans
T/Case
Back Diff

And i dont want to spent that kind of money on the same part... So i was thinking of Adding Stronger parts... And Cheaper then the Dealers Price. Any ideas would be great thanks andy.

Are you already past your warranty time? I don't know about you but I have a 60,000 mile / 5-year on the drivetrain. I thought we all did. Or are you past that already?

dude dont not let the dealer fix it for that price, just go through team rip, shepp racing, or turbo trix and have them build you a trans and t/case for alot cheaper and it will be bullet proof~

How in the world can you break all 3 major parts of your drive train?!?
Usually it's just one of those parts.
And I'll agree with others, have Shepperd, TurboTrix or TRE rebuild it.

i think he bought a used 04 considering he just joined and his first post was saying he had big plans for his 04. anyways find out for sure why they arnt covering it under warranty. what is their reason. if you have to pay dont go through the dealer, they will probably fix it bad then say its your fault when it breaks again. also where are you located, there might be some good shops around you that could help

if its under warranty and you dont have mods, then i would try and fight it. Screw it worst comes to worst youll have to pay to get it rebuilt for cheaper then what they were asking (your current situation), or you get a free tranny t/case r. dif..

All you have do is deny it...they have no way to prove it.
