i use them for my autox tires, they keep the interior of the car clean and also allow for easier transporting with the handles, overall i'd say they're worth it

I haven't used them, but thanks to your link, I just bought some, since I race a lot and am always trying to keep the car from getting dirty. I see people using these all the time at my race events (auto-x/circuit), so now I'm getting 4. Thanks for the link!

Those totes look pretty nice. For those of you who live near an IKEA furniture store, they've got these handy little items:

tire bag

They're only available @ the stores (not online ) but they aren't too bad. Not as fancy as the tire totes though.

I like the IKEA ones. Since it is a bag with no hole in the center I would think they would also stop any stray brake dust from falling off in the car.

Yeah, I just use garbage bags too - the large Lawn and Garden kind. They are cheap and disposable. They keep the car cleaner because there are no holes in them. And they are also better for storing the tires in as they help prevent dry-rotting of street tires and help keep all the resins that make the tire sticky from evaporating from R-compound tires.

I gotta say, I used hefty bags for several years. Switched to the Tire Tote's this year and I like them better. I can drive with the windows down and not hear the bags flapping all over, plus the hefty bags would help the tires slide around on the back seat.

That said, I still use the hefty bags for storage.
