Please list what kind of mods to get...

I want your input to give me some advice on buying performance parts for the evo..

I own a '03 evo 8 and the only thing i got done with it is a cone filter adapter.

i like to have my car running about mid to low 12s, but i want to know from you guys what is the best bang for the buck to get me to that point... give me an estimate how much this is going to cost me... thanks.

I put my package together with Buschur specifically for your question. Those are all the mods you need to go low-to-mid 12s on pump gas with good driving and at very low cost. The price includes shipping and tuning, btw.

I agree with Warrtalon's stage upgrade first...but coming from the 03 platform (like me) I think you will also want to invest in a 10.5 hotside. And if you are doing it yourself, while you got the manifold and hotside out, might as well upgrade the O2 housing as well.

If you're in Chicago, call AMS and ask them what they have that is similar to the Warrtalon packages. While you've got them on the horn I'd also ask how much more it would cost to install cams and cam gears. If you do it all at once it will save you from having to get tuned twice.

Norwalk, OH. They are famous in the Evo/DSM world, and sponsor this forum. You can see their Ad with a link to the site at the top of this forum 24/7.

Clutch and tranny upgrade and practice. Don't bother with anything else. If you're gonna drag race the car, you might as well do it right.

4-BNGR's advice is about as good as HouseDJ's nowadays...

I race all the time and have no tranny upgrade. No reason to upgrade the clutch until it goes bad. That makes no sense to suggest those 2 things before any power mods. Very strange...

Warr-

C'mon buddy... It was a blatant attempt at sarcasm. IMO, Evo's got no business on a 1/4 mile strip. Oh, I know it can be done, but I'd rather see one on a real race track... the kind with turns and what not

Too subtle for me even, and I do it a lot. I didn't catch the sarcasm, because I love to drag race AND autocross AND road race. The Evo does all of them very well, but the cheapest and easiest to do is drag.
