tire and wheel proctection agreement???

ok i got that tire and wheel proctection agreement at the dealer. cause i ddint wanna buy new tires if something happened.

i got a nail last week and went over there friday and all they did was plug it. anyone know if i was supposed to get a new tire??? or no?

cause plugs arent going to last long are they?

A plug should be fine. I'm sure the agreement says in the fine print that they do the least costly fix first, and if that doesn't work, then they progress. There's nothing wrong with a plug. If the tire blows, then they'll replace the whole thing. You really don't want a brand new tire mixed with worn tires anyway...

oh ok thanks for the quick responds. yeah i was thinking the same thing with the unevenness of the other tires. but yeah i just dont want it to blow. if that does happen and its cause of that id be so ****. they better give me an MR to replace their stupid mistake hehehe

You should have told them to patch the tire from the inside. Plugs are only a quick fix that could eventualy give you problems.

i got a nail the first week i've had my car...plugged it and its fine....another 1000 miles and ill need to replace it because of a heredity sympton known as balding
