The ones along body lines can be difficult to fix as well. Hail like that, you might be looking at a totalled car. If the hail was widespread and your insurance company is quite large, they might have a special hotline setup after the storm. Ought to look into that.

Rock chalk, jayhawk KU! I was there in 93 when we had the same hail storm.
I worked at a laundry mat there on Iowa St and was able to get my car under the canopy. The dealerships were selling the cars as "totaled" and they were basically giving them away just to sell them. I think a lot of people paid off the cars since they were deemed totalled, but drove them around with the hauil damage. I also had a few friends that went out with ballpin hammers to finish off the hail damage to get it totalled.

My thoughts exactly. Man... those things could probably kill you if they hit you correctly!

Yes sir! I'm about a block north of Memorial Stadium. Good way to make money during football season. I know the laundry mat. I didn't have time to get to the parking garage on Mass. We literally were given 3 minutes notice. My insurance company set up a catastrophe team to speed things up. We'll see soon enough.

AHH man, that sucks!!

I hope your insurance company takes good care of you. I'm glad they have a CAT team working on your claim. They usually work faster to resolve claims and keep customers happy.

Yeah, he's getting his estimate tomorrow. I haven't heard back from my insurance company though.

Estimate on the MR was ~ $3000. I thought that was a little low for the amount of damage sustained. My estimate, for some odd reason, is on Sunday at 5:15. I guess the damage was that widespread.

I live two seconds away from the University parking garage but the storm warning went away so me and my roomie left our cars out in the lot. Went to check damage on our cars after the hail stoped and I didnt have arear window, and his car looked like it was parked in the middle of a driving range. We both go to KU. You might have seen my roomies car around town. Drives a lowered GTI with 17s a front mount and a 3076r.
