Sweet. I don't think I've seen a GTi with a front mount. Have you seen the white MR around? My roommate is pretty reclusive. Some anti-social guy drives a red RS around. Sounds like you're pretty close to us. I'd like to check out the GTi sometime.

My estimate came to $3406. They are completely replacing the hood which they estimated way too low. The dealership is repairing the car and judging from the cost of parts alone the estimate is anywhere from $1500-2000 too low. They also estimated that labor time to remove the headlights would be 0.4 hours. Riiiigggghhhhhtttt.

That is painful to see. My car was outside once and it began to hail pretty hard. It was not as big as what hit your car, but fairly good size. I was at a friends house so I couldn't run outside in put it in the garage. I had to sit inside and listen to it ping off my car for about 5 minutes straight. Fortunately there was no damage. Good luck with getting it fixed, hope it all works out for you man!

It's funny, everyday I seem to find new dents. Windshield just developed a spider crack today. Mitsu said anywhere from 2-4 weeks for repair time. Yay!

Doesn't help that we sit just a few miles away from tornado alley.
