Instrument/Guage Cluster Removal?

Has anyone taken their instrument/Guage cluster out yet? Looks like 2 screws on top and pull out?

Anything to watch out for or be aware of?

Thanks!

Done it to my buddy's Evo... Are you trying to take out your speedometer, tac, etc... (that gauge cluster), or are you trying to take out climate control crap, or both? Ive helpped him with both.

Yup. theres 2 screws up top which removes the plastic cover. then theres 3 screws that hold the actual cluster in place. after removing those 3 screws pull out the cluster a bit and disconnect the 2 plug-ins that are found on the back top of the cluster. then your all done.

What he said...

Also note, you may have to angle the cluster just right to pull it out without problems. It's going to feel like it's getting caught up on the dash, but if you tilt it left or right at the right angle, you you shouldnt have any issues.
