Well check insurance quotes on your own, almost every insurance company have free online quotes. As for gas, depends how u drive. I average about 19. 85% city and 15% highway. Can you afford it? Thats a question u should ask yourself. See how much money you save a month and see if it will cover the car payment.

12 dollars an hr is way off if you're going to have to pay for the car, gas, and insurance all urself. thats barely enough for the car, and u have to think about the downpayment. with the gas prices rising, seeing as ur living in san bernandino... thats gonna be a chore to pay too. doesn't sound like you're goals too realistic unless you can get help from your parents.

To be honest with you and to not make you upset. If you have to make this post you cant afford an EVO not only an EVO but an MR at the least you gonna spend 35k at unless you go to South Coast or somthing.

It depends on you and your expenses...

Its hard to say what you need to afford an evo, it all depends on weather or not you have good credit, the APR percentage, weather or not you will have a downpayment towards the car and if you have another loan or not on another vehicle... The best way you can get an estimate is just to go to the dealorship and have them work through it with you, they'll give you a price then go home and figure backwards, what you make in a month after taxes, minus what they told you your payment would be, minus food ect... If your end total for the month is comefortable for you then I would say go for it, but thats your call... as far as ins. my ins went up about 60.00 but again just call your current ins. company they'll give you a quote. As for gas, where I am at Im not able to find 93 octane... so i put 92 in and that is currently 2.98 cents a gallon, on a 13 gallon tank which gets anywhere from 18-24 mpg depending on driving. You do the math I guess and figure how much youd drive in a month. Hope that helps

is this thread a joke or what????

I couldn't comfortably afford an EVO till I was making about $45,000.00 per year.....

at $12/hr I probably would not buy a car costing more than $18K-$20K, till then stick with your "crappy civic" till ya get a better job.....

Yea buddy 12 bucks a hour isnt going to get you where you want to be. I would say at least 18-20 to be comfortable.

Yeah i'm making between $45-50,000 a year and I can barely afford the evo with all my other bills. I'm living fine but definitely not going to mod.
