3.35 for gas here. The evo is my daily driver but work is only 3 miles from my house. If I wanted to be economical I would have kept my civic.

I got a Toyota Prius....actually I already had it and then bought the evo. The prius is a company car so I don't pay any gas or anything but I drive it alot. How does 60k miles in one year sound. Anyway I would not own the EVO if I didn't have another car to drive.

Just gotta suck it up. 90 miles per day. I use the cruise control whenever I can (the only thing on my car that's better than the evo )

If it gets much worse, though, I'm probably going to be hurting. Spending nearly $60/week on gas isn't acceptable

Corporate Fleet Gas Card.

I fill my truck up every other day at ~$65. Plus my Evo and the wife's Z car about once a week or so. Not only that, it's a Shell card, so I get top tier gas for the Evo, for free.

I figure this perk alone saves me almost a thousand dollars a month.

my take on this matter is: If you can't afford gas, you shouldn't be driving it.

of course its a little bit of a bite in my wallet, but only 10 dollars more per fillup

well, i would usually always drive my car everyday to work 40 miles each way, and since the gas went up. i have been leaving the car at home and driving my spare car a 98 toyota tercel. i now just take out the evo when im driving around my area.
