Last night My girl and I were heading to see a local band in her RS. When all the sudden the cherrys come on. Shes like WTF I was going under the speed limit 40 in a 45. Im like I cant wait to here this one. The cop comes up to the window with the light shining in our eyes. License, Regi, Insurance. She gives it up along with her PBA card from our friend whos a cop in another town. He says have a nice night and leaves. Im like that was weird he never even said what he pulled you over for. I noticed he checked for a front plate though. He probably thought he was gonna f%#^ with some punk kids instead he gets a 30 year old woman.

Comes with the territory. I didn't have mine two weeks before I was pulled over for nothing (cop thought the car was stolen).

 

Got you both beat. I got pulled over for "illegal headlights" the night I bought my evo - before I even got it home for the first time!

I had to convince them that I just bought the damn thing and the headlights were stock!

 

This is exactly why I carry a brochure from the dealer

Yea and we get pulled over in the sleeper RS.

 

It happends, I got pulled over for not having a front license plate, but the car was brand new and I didn't even have plates yet. So the cop told me that I still need a front license plate holder in the mean time, whatever I just said your right and got a warning, dumba** cop.

 

it seems weird he pulled the threadmakers friend over the rs is more sleeper then a regular evo. for some reason im always getting looked by the cops. it could be my bright blue color and i think the wing contributes alot also.

 

last week i got pull over for stock exshaut, and told me that lancer don't come with big exshaut and big wing, WTF!!!!!!

Yea rolling in my VIII with the wing I get the cop stares alot. But her car usually flys under the radar. We usually take her car on vacations and trips for that reason. Plus hers is fairly stock so less agian for the popo to look at.

 

I wonder how many times he's heard the excuse "oh, officer the dealership didn't put a front plate holder on my car when I bought it".

 

Cops suck

 

until you need them, then they can't get there quick enough.
