But you shouldn't have the stock boost hose unless you are still using the stock boost system. This guy has an MBC, so he has aftermarket hoses.

Btw, you referred to a quality hose instead of a cheap vaccuum hose, but then you said you still were using the stock hose with restrictor. There is no lack of quality with the stock hose, but re-using it on a modded car that isn't using the stock boost system is improper. However, re-using the stock hose does not cause such a noise as this in any other case.

when i used the soapy water, all i did was run it down the street and back and then check from there. it worked on my friends car when he had a leak so i thought id try as well. i dont know in theory if this works but i was willing to try. what do u suggest??

Oh my Lord, no. It worked for your friend, so you tried it? Wow, people never cease to amaze me. The point of soapy water on your IC connections is to see where you have a boost leak. If there is no boost, then there is nothing to leak...

YOu have to do a REAL pressure test to find the leaks, because they don't show themselves unless the system is pressurized.

well, the problem was from the BR lower i/c piping. it was pulling on where it is bolted up to the turbo and forced the gasket to worp which let out a loud noise everytime i tried to boost. i guess this problem happens with BR piping since there is very little slack, from what i was told.

Well, that makes since because I know other people have had the same problem. What doesn't make since is that you said you were getting no boost at all! The pipe would have had to have been practically falling off.
