RS Mirrors - to pwr Mirrors?

RS Mirrors - to pwr Mirrors?

I've searched and never got a Real answer but I think I did read (a long time ago) where someone may have made their RS mirrors Powered.I'm sure alot harder making them fully power in a RS modeled CAR, but what about in a GSR that already has everything (wires,switch,etc)?

IF I have a Powered Mirror and an RS mirror...is it as easy as just swapping the Guts/motor w/ harness and putting them into the RS's mirror?

anyone tried this? - even though I'm sure some of you are gonna ask why?

any luck? I am very interested in this also. i was hoping more RS guys were posting how they did swaps over to the power side.

I'm wondering about this as well, I guess its like the power mirrors and locks, buy the right parts and plug em in

I would steer clear of everything except maybe a power lock coversion on the RS. The power window conversions and power mirror conversions I've read about have been anything but "plug and play". On the other hand the power lock conversions seem to be affordable even if you have a place like Circuit City or Best Buy do the install for you.

If i was going to do it I'd be using OEM stuff
