How much hp/tq do yoy need?

Morning everyone... I was searching but I couldn't find anything, I was just wondering how much hp/tq one needs to get into the 10's?? I would like to hear from the guys running 10.9x's, and please list your mods, hp, and tq. It would be nice to see who has made it into the 10's with the least amount of power...

im an idiot....I was thinking something else, and my brain is fryed this week. Def. 600 would get you there with minimal driving skills. 900 gets you well into the 9's

475 - 500 hp should probably get you there.

I did find that list, but it doesn't have hp/tq numbers?? That's why I was hoping the guys just breaking into the 10's would chim in with there numbers... It really want to see who got into the 10's with the least amount of power.

That's about what I was thinking.. I figure 525 awhp should be good for high 10's. can anyone verify this?

550 whp/tq minimum on a big turbo with the rev limiter set higher and great driving but 600 whp will definitely get u there with decent driving and less tq. With more tq less whp is needed IMO. Just a guess. OUT!

The real cutoff is 450whp or so with superb driving.

Curt Brown never got on a dyno (didn't believe in them) until well after he ran that 10 and had gone to a GT35r. He went back to the stock turbo, got on Buschur's Mustang Dyno with new mods, tuned that bad boy to be even faster, then ran 10.5-10.6 @ 127mph...

How about on a stock turbo? The reason I ask is because that's what I'm trying to hit. Right now I'm at 380hp/370tq. In 3 weeks I'm doing ams intercooler and pipes, waste gate acuator, and exedy twin plate. Then in about 2 months I'm doing a 2.3 stroker and 100 shot... I'm not sure what my numbers will be but they should be over 500, so I'm wondering can I hit 10's with this set up?

In terms of power, yes. In terms of driving, who knows? That's up to you and your drivetrain...
