Are you talking about the Kansai intake? You arent going to find that cheap anywhere, its fairly rare. Other than that i havent seen any other carbon fiber intake boxes.

Gruppe M makes one for the Evo, I had one on my S2000. Damn expensive though.

Here is a pic of the Gruppe M on my old S2000. I'll dig up a pic for the Evo one.

That is perhaps the most heinous thing I've ever seen on a car...it looks like the Blob.

I assure you that "luck" has nothing to do with why something that ridiculous is not on my car, haha. And for $1600, whoa, that's more than both of my mod packages that give about a 70whp gain...

Big difference in an S2000 and an Evo. It was "one" of the best intakes for the S2000 and I grabbed it.

As knowlegdeable as you may be on these boards, you always seem to have some type of negative comment for one thing or the other. God forbid someone runs something that you don't have or approve of.

i think the "Blob" looks BA. Is it propery tunned for a S2000, I hope. Would i ever pay 1600 for an intake, i'd have to say no unless i had bill gates money.

why does it always come down to hp per dollar. do you think wrc uses a cf air box czu it makes them umpteen billion hp? just get over the cheap racer thing, sometimes the best is just the best and it doesn't make horsepower.

that said, let's chant... cheap cf air box, CHEAP CF AIR BOX... i'm sure someone will hear our call and make a cheap cf air box.

That's a nice looking setup on the S . I had an 05' and all of the good intakes (J's, Spoon, Mugen) are really pricey.

Anyway back to the Evo, check out http://www.bulletproofautomotive.com/

I think they have some listings for CF intakes, HKS, Monster, etc.

Good luck
