Who has been pulled over with...Valentine One Or. Passport 8500 X50
I'm considering getting one or the other... but has anyone actually been pulled over while using any of these detectors?

I have been pulled over with one, why do you ask? Just in case you care the Valentine 1 is the best radar detector available. I have the 8500 and it sucks. My friend has a Valentine 1 and it is so much better.

I have a Valentine One and its perfect. I have yet to get nailed for speeding now for 4 years. Its not like i'm a notorious speeder... but its things like passing that usually have gotton me nailed in the past. But now I always know when a cop is in the area and when to look out for them. It works wonders.
I also mounted my remote display on the underside of the hood covering the gauge cluster. It sits just above the top of the tach and is perfect so i don't have to take my eyes off the road or my gauges.
(the little A is part of the screen showing its in "all bogey's mode".)

Valentine One radar detectors are quite expensive but worth every cent. I look at the purchase as an insurance policy. If it saves you once... its paid for itself. (ticket cost + insurance hike, etc)
I have yet to see any other radar detector receive so many praises as seen in threads like this and the countless other threads about detectors.

I've had an 8500 for the last 3-4 years and have never gotten a speeding ticket while using it, I am usually one to just keep up with the flow of traffic but on the highway I am usually doing 80-85 and the speed limits in IL are 55 on most of the highways, with that being said I still am ticket free. First I had the 8500 (now in my GF's Scion tC) and I now have the x50 with blue display, I like the 8500 also because you can hook up escorts laser diffusers to it (much cheaper than a k40)
