There's no way, man. If they charged him THAT much, he could sue their asses for so much money. If they SAID the MSRP is 47,000 and didn't list the regular MSRP and added the " $15,000 Dealer Markup" to him, they could get butt-raped easily. Like they sell the ZO6 for $75,000 - $80,000 but they have to identify the extra amount as DEALER MARKUP. They can't say the MSRP is $80,000.

yeah, I highly doubt the price...most likely, it's the overall financing included(that means interest too)

This is coming from a rich *** family, they have 3 kids,
My Ex gf got a 2005 Mercedes C230 Kompresser brand new, her sister got a 2005 Volvo S40 with Navigation and all that junk, and about a year later, Nick got his 2006 IX MR for 47,000.

He just has to pay for some of it, I think he sold his boat that they bought him for about 15-20k, then they gave him some more money and he put that as a downpayment and made his first couple payments.

I know he did a 5 year plan, with atleast a 15k downpayment, and is still paying around 300+ a month, so he def is ending up paying a ton of money, regardless of weather it's actually 47 or not.

I think everyone is thinking he paid 47k for the car OTD, which is not the case. He probably paid about roughtly 38-40k OTD but when you finance the car over whatever years, it would come out to about 47-50k just because of all the interest he will be paying over the years. So I would say that sounds about right unless you paid the car off cash or what not. Or have your friend found out the pay off and you'll get an idea of what he actually paid OTD.

I will talk to him tonight, and find out.... But also keep in mind he payed up to 25k as a downpayment, so if you payed that much already, I find it hard to pay that much money in interest if that much of the car is already payed off.

Ok so anyone who is interested, I'm going to talk to Nick tonight, maybe his dad came to him and was like we're ****ing paying $47k for this car for ur *** and nick didnt realise that it was after interest and all that ****.
All I know is, I was told by Nick himself, and his two best friends that he payed $47,xxx for his car, and I thought everyone here would like to hear about it.
I will find out more information and post it when I figure some stuff out.

He just got Ev0wn3d!!!1 But seriously, why did he pay that much and not do his research? I know that Stevens Creek Mitsu is asking 44 grand for a new MR, and for some reason they keep selling them... I guess it's just people who don't know anything about the Evo, and need one.
