defi d boost gauge help!
this morning i got into my car and noticed there is something wrong with my defi d boost gauge... anyone got any ideas? the reading is way off...
heres what i mean... with the engine off...
anyone know how i can fix this? i had this gauge for about 4 months

Where did you install the T-fitting for the gauge? I remember way back when that if you tapped in the downstream side of the FPR that it could cause the gauge to stick when the car was shut off.

Try tapping it here (red circled)....this is where I have my Defi tapped and where it was recommended by countless others.

Defi-D are junk IMO. The first one I bought a year ago came defective, then when I got another one I had it for a little over a year to find out it reads innaccurately over 20psi.
I bought a Stewart Warner for half the price and havent looked back. Spot on accuracy and it LOOKS better. What more could you ask for?

oh, yeah they definitely suck. I am on my third boost gauge from them, and I have only had my car for a year.
Check out my thread, it also has a link on how to fix it, but if I was you I would just toss it in the trash and buy something else
