boost gauge and mbc = same T?
ok im going to get my boost gauge installed tomorrow, i have my mbc sitting in my trunk because i was too lazy to take apart some crap in the engine bay, so i was thinking, since im paying to have my boost gauge installed [please don't flame haaha], can they install the mbc at the same time? Do the hoses connect to the same spot that my boost gauge hose would be going into? The same T? well yea, i don't want these guys to charge me an extra $50 to install the MBC if they are already going to be in that area for my boost gauge, then maybe they can spend an extra 20 mins. or so on the mbc lines? What do you guys think or know? Thanks for the help! i really appreciate it!

They're not even remotely close to one another during the install, but of course they can install both at once. Since they are not even related, nor do they affect the same areas, it will be an additional 45-60mins for the MBC install, which I highly recommend you do yourself so that you can learn the boost system and troubleshoot any problems in the future. I also am not keen on shops messing with the Evo boost system unless they are intriciately knowledgeable about the quirks we have, such as not re-using any of the stock lines due to the restrictor pills and making sure they tap the proper source.
