evo question

evo question

when i drive under high boost my dipstick keeps coming out and it spits out oil from the hole what is causing this?to much crank pressure?but what does that mean?how do i fix it ?

Combustion pressure is leaking into the crankcase. Did you run lean and break a ringland?

Do you have a catch can? I heard with some of the cheapo catch cans, the lines are to small and thats what happens.

BTW, although a compression check will help (I know you mentioned you did it and if I recall your numbers were close to the OE Tolerance)

I suspect something is wrong with your PCV system or the vent tube..

When you crack the ring lands it will have pretty good compression results for a while but will still spit out the dipstick. The car may run fine too. But over time you will notice the idle getting crappier and crappier and then when you check the compression again you will find one cylinder low.

Or your PCV valve is stuck open letting boost into the case but you checked that first I am sure.
