Pic request: 18" wheels with stock suspension

Hi, I've tried searching and didnt find any pics of EVO with 18" wheels that is running on stock suspension. Can someone please post a pic of their ride with 18" wheels that is not dropped.

How do you guys feel about it? Does it look bad for putting in a larger wheel without dropping it.

TIA

Well, a larger wheel will likely lessen the wheel gap, so I don't see how it could look bad...or at least not worse than the stock rims...unless you get super low-profile tires with a large gap still.

Btw, Show'n'Shine is where you want to look, not Evo General.

Yeah, I wonder the same thing...my guess is that it might depend on, like Warr mentions, the tire profile. If you stay with the stock ride height then maybe a 35 or 40 profile might look a bit hokie. My car is running a 245/40x17 0n the stock rim....but I don't think it looks that awful.

But, someday I'd like to get 18x9.5's but I cant lower the car 'cause my local roads have major pothole presence and debris...so I wonder what kinda profile Ill have to go with to not look too funky and at the same time retain some sidewall isolating effect from these awful potholes.

I have SP1s 18x9 on my room floor right now. Will order tires this coming tuesday. So by the end of next week I should have pics with them on my stock Evo.

I installed a set of 5Zigen 18x8.5 wheels w/ 255/35/18 Googyear F-1's. I'm keeping the stockers w/ 10% tread for the track. I love the way the car handles with my new W &T. I have a slightly lower CG and the cars wheelbase is about 1"-2" wider. The W & T combo fit perfectly and fill the wheewells perfectly. I'll be adding Tien Flex C/O w/electronic adjusting in the next few months. I have pics if anyone wants to see.
