1) There's plenty of "top drag strips" in say, CA...

2) So we hundreds of evo owners should have to travel because YOUR shop is in OH? It just doesn't make sense to have hundreds of Evo's drive accross the US to go there, why dont you vendors just drive to popular evo places?

No doubt. Hell probably 75% of the cars wouldn't be "legal" in CA anyways.

I'll be there (to watch) if I ever get my car running.

Dreamlike1,

Before you get all fired up, it's nothing personal. Buschur Racing has been around a loooong time. This is just as much about seeing the shop and interacting with the quality people who work there as it is about racing. No matter where it was held some people would be left out.

Man, there's a lot of people hatin on Ohio! Anyways, I'll be there; unfortunately only to watch. My evo just won't be able to compete with these guys seeing as it's stock.

I will be there for sure My parents live about 20 mins from Norwalk so I got a place to stay
I want to race but don't want to f*ck up my crappy stock clutch just yet.(just turned 854 miles driving home today) I might change my mind, so I just need someone to talk me into it. I don't know how fast she is all I have is a licp, and hardly any practice on an AWD car. Took the R32 to the track once and pulled a 13.9 at 101. That was almost 2 years ago.
You think you guys (Buschur or Al) can hook me up with some test parts to race
Are there going to be any specials on parts at the shop on Saturday
Seems how the Buschur/Warralton package is $1270....... lets do it for $1000
I think saturday will be sweet as well, at the shop w/ the dyno and custom tuning going on by BIG AL.

I don't think it being stock really matters as long as you are consistant.

I intend on being there & running. I'm broke right now, but hopefully a local shop will help me resolve my issues and I'll make it there to run a 13! If the cars not up to it, I'll still be there but I'll be pimpin the VW.

If you have an Evo race that bad boy! It does not matter what level of mods you have, if any. I've been to these EVO/STI shootouts in Ohio and Englishtown and there are always twice as many STI's as EVO's in the staging lanes. It's much more fun to RACE than WATCH. And you never know what can happen. I got third place last year and my car only ran high 11's. Big Al was REALLY scared when he lined up against me......NOT.

If my motor is done, and I get my car back together in time for David to tune it, I will be there. I will be there even if my car doesn't run.

There may be twice as many STIs as Evos at these events but there are always four times as many FAST Evos than fast STIs!
