Hotwiring the IX??????
Im not asking how to hot wire a car although i want to learn how to...
My question is,
Is it possible to Hotwire the Evo[IX to be specific] so they can steal it?
Im not sure if Newer cars today cant be hotwire. or the manufacturer came up a solution/protection for this. It bothers me sometimes just for thinking that i might loose my IX.
What do you think???

However, back to LoJack being garbage, my former supervisor had a Stage 3 Steeda Mustang here in Miami. Lived in a good neighborhood and everything. His car was gone. By the time he woke up, the signal couldn't be found. The signal can't get out of a steel shed type warehouse...Or a shipping container for that matter.
Exploiting the VIN is a favorite too. Shady guy works at a dealer, sees your car...Looks on the dash to get your VIN...Bam...All the info there to get a key cut for his buddy for a nominal fee.
Thieves are going to get it. The only sort of theft deterrent I have are for when my kids are in the car...a cute little Glock 27 in my waistband (LEGALLY). Other than that, they can have my car. It isn't worth it.
