Warning!!never Use Mmca!!!
Mitsubishi Motor Credit of America will screw you bad. I have another car(not the evo) financed through them. they are the worst ive ever seen. I have for the past 4 years and 10 months sent my payment in on time. the would then send me a statement saying it was late and add a late fee. It got to the point that i needed proof so i started sending it certified mail and sure enough they would hold my payment long enough to make it late. By law they are required to post it within 24 hrs of receving it. Also the ppl in the call center are outsourced so they never can understand what you are calling about. After spending coutless hours on the phone getting the late fees taken off and getting treated like a 2 year old ive had enough. Ive even talked with upper mgnt. to get the problem resolved but with no success after 2 years of complaining. Sorry just venting my fustration.
Thank god I went to my credit union for the evo. They gave me a great rate and none of the BS.
Anyone else having similar problems?

I use MMCA for my Evo. I make my payments by phone and give them a check number and account number the day it is due. I don't know why you would mail it, that's risky, you can just do it over the phone. I've had no problems, thus far.

I did get a HORRIBLE interest rate through MMCA though (12.25%)

Mines like 13%, don't feel bad. What're your payments? High? And in response to the $5 phone fee. I'd rather pay $5 to secure my credit. Your credit stays with you for your entire life, your Evo doesn't. Don't let some idiots receiving 80,000 letters a day play games with your credit and life. It's worth the $5 and peace of mind.

Why would you complain for two years? I would have just refinanced through somewhere else after the first couple times. Would have saved you alot of headaches. Oh well though, lesson learned I guess.

my rate on the evo is 5.75 throug my bank but the car through mmca is at 7.9
and about the $5, I will not give them an extra penny.
they had to remove all my late fees but i have to call and spend about an hour on the phone every month. and my credit reports no late payments over the corse of my loan.
I just find it bs that other comanies can get it together that are way bigger than mmca ie the phone company, gas, electric,ect.......

One thing I learned though, don't buy a car during a "we finance anyone sale." lol

My OZ is financed thru MMCA and i really have not had a problem with it. I usually do a check over the phone but i've signed up for the electronic debt program so that's one less thing for me to worry about.
