i'm doing a 2.3 40r (.68ar) setup in a 2820lbs evo this year, but with my driving i'll be happy to even scrape 9's...

Couldnt be happier, big thanks to David for another awesome tune, AMS for a kick *** turbo kit and SBR for a 2.1 thats holding together to my abuse. Can't wait to run this thing at the EVO/STI shootout, going for a 9.6x at close to 150.
I'd like to see a dyno chart....
I'm interested in the 2.1L build as well....can ya tell us what options are needed?

I may hit the local track before Buschurs event but it will be only for a pass or two to sort out the suspension more.

Nice numbers on the car today for sure Curt. Thanks for bringing it back down and having me tune it.
The engine was a lot smoother this time, now that you pulled it out of the car and had it balanced, it really makes a difference.
Looking forward to seeing the car flying.

Curt, how do you feel about the 2.1 from SBR, what do you Rev it out to etc... I have heard some good but I have also heard that the motor is weaker because the walls are thinner etc.
I am in a toss up of a built 2.0, 2.1, or 2.3. Then RNR also has a 2.4 available cheap.

the 2.1 is destroked for higher rev's -
A) How high can you reliably rev it assuming an upgraded head/valve train and balanced crank?
B) Whats this business about using a different block?
C) Arent those other stroker kits doing the opposite to the rod/stroke ratio and thus cannot reliably rev higher than stock.
