New Defi products?
Does anyone have any inside info on what's next for the Defi line?
Autometer has raised the bar with the Nexus gauge system which features recording to SD, etc.
There are a few annoyances with the Control Unit II that I would love to see addressed in the next version:
- Suppressing alarms when the car is not actually running
- Both low AND high alert thresholds for some sensors
- Recording to SD cards
- Support for a wideband O2 sensor
- Boost displayable on the Concept HUD
- Different sounds for different alarms (maybe even voice alerts???)
- Video output (e.g. to an in-dash LCD)
- etc.
