So basically to sum it up, you sell parts without knowing if they are in stock, you obviosly are low budget because it appears you drop ship everything (hints the OUT OF STOCK excuse)... and you feel this is OK business?

BMS: I'm not sure when you purchase the Cams, but some times they do tend to be out of stock for weeks, and we do try our best to ship out items once they are in stock, Sorry for the wait hope the cams you ordered worked out great for you.

westchester evo: I believe you waited for 2 weeks for your EVC. Once again im sorry that we didn't have the item in stock, and should of called you the same day and not 2-3 days later, hows the car boosting?

App420: Group Buys usually takes a long time, im very sorry for the long wait. Now since the group buy ended hit me up ill make it up to you for the wait =)

stikillller: What do you think should be changed on the site?

Exactly I wasn't happy with the kit but that wasn't good enough of a reason for you to give me a refund in the begining. All it took was multiple emails with no response, multiple IM's with one exchange (you said the above stated return reason wasn't good enough), me shipping it back to Snow Performance, a charge back and a post on evom. Great customer service. What a joke.

My mistake was due to the pics in the gb post I assumed the kit was for an evo not a universal one. Plain and simple I was not happy with the kit and that is enough for most reputable businesses. Yes I did not want to pay money to make something work that I wasn't happy with. If there was anything else I could do to bring attention to or drive home this situation I would have. Thanks all who have read and posted.

well hopefully everything is getting fixed, and 500hp takes this as a learning experience and raises his customer service, also informing the customer if his/her parts are "in-stock" before the final sale is put through.

i dont think this is a reason to never buy from 500hp, i think this is a perfect chance for 500hp to make his business better for the customer! hopefully they learn from this and everything gets better and everyone gets what they wanted, or gets there money back.

i have never ordered from 500hp, that is just my .2c!!

happy boooosting!

guys, I have personal experience with this vendor and he is a standup guy. I have no financial stake here, just a good experience with this vendor. He has a rock solid reputation at socalevo.net FYI.

I have good experience with this vendor. They even call back to ask me what color I want.

I have experiences with 500whp and they are all good. But this will not guarantee a positive experience for everyone. Like the saying goes, "You can't please everyone 100% of the time." This is probably a legitimate gripe on 500whp in this instance, but they are the exception and not the rule.

The only thing I see here is that you returned it to the wrong place. You did not pay Snow for the kit and yet they got it back. You should have returned it to 500 whp. He honestly has NO obligation to refund you a single cent at this point, he has no product. The credit card company told you entirely wrong, whoever there told you to return it to the manufacturer was an idiot. The part has to be returned to who you bought it from. If 500whp took your credit card and billed you then it would have to be sent to them. Why would he give you money back for a part he doesn't have now?

You will have a hard time fighting this with your CC company at this point. Be nice and maybe you will get lucky enough for him to refund you (500whp).

As a side note, sorry you got mislead.

It only takes one post....well in this case 4 different complaints. It's definitely damaging for 500whp, cuz they may have lost a customer for this (me). Customers like to feel comfortable in the fact that theyll get the service that they desire.

Dave, I asked the cc company and they said even though 500whp charged me to send back the product to whomever it belongs to meaning that since 500whp did a groupbuy and my kit actually shipped from Snow Performance thats whom merchandise it really is and should be returned to. Maybe they didn't understand the group buy thing. 500whp said he refunded me the charge so we shall see.

Thats a shame. I have bought a few items from Jeff @500whp.com and have never had a problem. 99% of the time in the past most people have always had good results. As far a drop shipping goes.....almost every vendor on here does that. The JDM parts like tomei and Jun are extremely hard to get. The vendor must take the money from you to place an order with the company before they are told whether or not it is in stock in Japan. Keep that in mind.

When I tried to buy my Jun cams I placed no less then two seperate orders with companies, paid for both times and had to wait for a refund from one of them. BUut I did get my cams. I had to be really diligent. Also...refunds take up to 5-10 business days even with your debit card. Just keep all this in mind when ordering guys.

For future reference, you have to return your products to the guy you paid for them.

Glad he is taking care of it for you.
