id bring some clamps for the intercooler piping, if you dont have any tbolt clamps. I drove from MD or washington dc area down to GA and while i was in GA the intercooler piping came off because the stock clamps suck!

I drove mine 1600 miles the second week I had it, from FL to MA. The car was great and I had fun doing it. I honestly don't think youll need anything but music and gas money. I would bring some tools along just incase but that just how I am and I always have a tool bag in the car anyway.

Stretch the hell out of that muscle on the front side of your shins.
Wear real heavy shoes/boots that way you don't have to apply too much steady pressure to the gas pedal.
At a minimum, Check your spare tire pressure. Make sure you have jack and lugnut tool. Bring at least a screwdriver combo deal and a 10mm nut driver/socket drive. Radar detector is mandatory along with CD's/iPod etc.
The other thing I do is plan a rest stop every 3 hours or so to refuel, stretch legs and get blood moving again. It makes the trips easier than trying to go until the tanks almost empty before stopping. Not sure why, but it does.

I'm running 36 in the front and 34 in the back cause I tend to wear out the edges first
Sould be fine if the weather is dry. If it is wet you might want to take it easy with those psi.

if you have a SAFC .. you may want to lean it out just a bit to get better gas mileage.. it can help ... when i drove my car 1000+ miles to toronto in the evo it helped a bit ... and yes, V1 would be best to have in the car ! ... enjoy the road trip !
also, all seasons would be of most help as your stock advans wouldn't like all that heat and long distance

Go to your local craft store and have them cut a small piece of 1 1/4" high density foam to fit in your drivers seat. It will cost you about $3.00 but it will save the old tail bone.

I just drove a new MR 2300 miles in 3.5 days. I didn't find the Recaros very friendly for extended use (I'm not fat, I'm 6' 166 lbs) and was glad I brought along an airline pillow as I occasionally used it for my lower and middle back. Maybe it's just me but after ~90 minutes I felt like my lats were in a vise and it got uncomfortable. The airline pillow moved me forward enough to lessen the grip of death.
